Eligibility
Google Pixel Watch 4 LTE purchases in the United States¹ (except Alaska and US Territories) at Best Buy or Google Store online or in-store from August 20, 2025 or later are eligible to redeem 2 years of data and texting service.

High-speed data
- Get up to 500 MB of high-speed data per month to use on your watch when you’re out of Bluetooth range of your phone. After reaching the data limit, the speed will slow to 256 kbps. Data usage is capped at 1 GB per month and roaming is not supported.

Texting
- Texting syncs your watch with your phone using the Google Messages app over the internet. This allows your watch to send and receive texts using your current phone number and phone’s carrier.
- To send and receive texts on your watch, you need to have texting service from your primary carrier on your phone. Make sure your phone is on and connected to the internet.
- When your watch is outside the Bluetooth range of your paired phone, it can’t make or receive calls.
Activation
You can activate your watch data during device setup or later in the Pixel Watch app.

You must activate your service within 60 daysof setting up your watch to receive the full 2 years of service. The 2 years of service starts from the activation date.
After 2 years, your watch will need a standalone data plan from a carrier, like Google Fi Wireless, for continued full connectivity. All Google Fi Wireless plans include this at no extra cost.
Transferability
This benefit is linked to the specific eligible watch you purchased and its unique activation link, so it cannot be transferred to a different device. However, the benefit can be transferred to another person (e.g. giving the watch as a gift) by following the activation steps in the Pixel Watch app.
Troubleshooting
Ensure that you have completed the following steps:
- Pair your Pixel Watch 4 LTE with your phone.
- Restart your watch and phone.
- On your Pixel Watch app

You need to be in a ZIP code that offers Google Fi service. Check if you are in an eligible location .
- In your watch’s settings, you can check which carrier your watch is using. It should indicate either “Google” or “Google Fi”.
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe downtap Settings.
- Tap Connectivity Mobile SIM Status.
- When you’re out of Bluetooth range of your phone, your watch should activate cellular connectivity and continue to access the internet.
- On Google Pixel Watch, swipe down then tap Settings.
- Tap Connectivity Mobile SIM status.
- For any eSIM profile not called “Google”, remove the profile by going to Settings Connectivity Mobile Advanced Reset eSIM.
- Make sure to deactivate your other carrier service if you pay separately.
- If a profile called “Google” appears, don't remove it. That is the profile that gives you 2 years of data and texting.

Yes. Your watch must be within Bluetooth range of your phone. When they are separated, you’re unable to make calls on your watch. To begin, pair and set up your Google Pixel Watch with your phone .
Important:
- You can't have two carriers on the watch at the same time.
Texting syncs your watch texts with your phone using the Google Messages app over the Internet. This allows your watch to send and receive text messages from your phone using your current phone number and phone's carrier.
Important:
- You need to have texting service from your primary carrier on your phone for this to work.
- It's not possible to have 2 carriers active on the watch at the same time.
- Your watch doesn't have a separate number. Your texts use the phone number on your phone from your main carrier.
- Your phone must be on and connected to the Internet.
- You don't need to have the phone and the watch next to each other or connected through Bluetooth.
Your replacement watch should allow you to reactivate your service the same way as before. If you’re unable to activate, contact Pixel Watch Support . You’ll need:
- A valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt from Google Store or Best Buy.

Data and Texting for Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 & 3
Customers who purchased their Google Pixel Watch in the US from Google Store during the promotion periods below will still be able to enjoy 2 years of data and texting from the date of activation until the benefit expires.
- Google Pixel Watch LTE purchased from September 1, 2023 to October 3, 2023.
- Google Pixel Watch LTE and Google Pixel Watch 2 LTE purchased from January 7, 2024 to January 31, 2024.
- Google Pixel Watch 2 LTE: After 250 MB of data used per month, the speed will be limited to 256 kbps. Data usage is capped at 500 MB per month.
- Google Pixel Watch 3 LTE purchased from August 13, 2024 to August 19, 2025.
- Google Pixel Watch 3 LTE: After 500 MB of data used per month, the speed will be limited to 256 kbps. Data usage is capped at 1GB per month.
- Roaming is not supported.
Purchased Pixel Watch 3 LTE in Google Store but email not received

One Google Fi Wireless data offer per purchase of Pixel Watch 4 41mm with 4G LTE or Pixel Watch 4 45mm with 4G LTE. Texting at no extra cost, but requires an active wireless phone plan. Voice calling over LTE is not supported. Offer expires if not redeemed within 60 days of setting up your Pixel Watch 4 (4G LTE). Data will be capped at 1 GB per month. Data is available in the US only. Some features, like location sharing and music streaming, may require you to install supporting applications (such as Google Maps and YouTube Music) on your watch and paired phone.
