You can change the display color for most ebooks. For some ebooks, you can also change the font size, color, and line spacing.
Make the font bigger
- On your computer, go to Google Play Books .
- Open a book.
- At the top, click Display options.
- Click Increase font size.
Change the font style, alignment, & spacing
When you view a book as Flowing text, you can adjust font settings. Not all books offer Flowing text.
- On your computer, go to Google Play Books .
- Open a book.
- At the top, click Display options.
- Change a setting:
- Font style:Under "Typeface," click an option.
- Line spacing:Under "Line height," click an option.
- Text alignment: Under "Justify," click an option.
Make it easier to read at night
- On your computer, go to Google Play Books .
- Open a book.
- At the top right, click Display options .
- Turn on Dark Theme.
Translate, define, or search for a word
- On your computer, open Google Play Books .
- Open a book.
- Select a word.
- Select an option:
- Define:Get the definition of the word in English.
- Translate:Select languages to translate to and from.
- Search:Search for a word in the book or on the web.
