Get recommendations that are relevant to you

Add your streaming services

Important: When you add streaming services, you get more recommendations from those services. We recommend you only select services you subscribe to.

On a Google TV device:

1. From the Google TV home screen, select Settings Accounts & Sign In.
2. Select your profile Your services.
3. To add your services, scroll right and turn on each service.
4. To save the selection and exit the screen, scroll left.

In the Google TV app:

1. At the top right, tap your profile pictureor initial.
2. Tap Manage services.
3. Select the service you want to add.
4. Tap Next Done.

For example, if you add Disney+ as one of your services, you’ll notice more recommendations from Disney+ on your Home screen or in your app.

New services are added regularly to the list. Google sets default ordering and selections for streaming services based on app popularity, installed apps, your saved services, and contractual agreements with our partners.

Manage your Watchlist

Important: Google uses the shows and movies on your Watchlist to learn what you like to watch. You’ll get recommendations for content that’s similar to the titles on your Watchlist.

1. Search or browse for the title you want to add to your Watchlist.
2. Open the title’s details page.
3. Select Watchlist .

2. Search or browse for the title you want to add to your Watchlist.
3. Open the title’s details page.
4. Select Watchlist.

Tip: When you add something to your Watchlist, it’s on the Watchlist of all your devices logged in to the same account.

Tell us what you like to watch

1. From the Google TV home screen, select Settings Accounts & Sign In.
2. Select your profile Content preferences.
3. Rate the suggestions.
4. To exit, on your remote, press Homeor Back.

Tip: This feature is only available on a Google TV device.

Mark what you’ve watched

1. On a Google TV device or in the app, search or browse for a movie or show.
2. Open the title’s details page.
3. Select Watched it?

For example, if you saw a movie in theaters, you can mark “Watched it.” Then, Google will recommend other movies and shows based on what you watched.

Rate movies & shows

1. On a Google TV device or in the app, search or browse for a movie or show.
2. Open the title’s details page.
3. Scroll right and choose Likeor Dislike .
