Turn live captions on or off
How to: Enable captions in Google Meet
- On your computer, go to Google Meet .
- Join a meeting.
- At the bottom, click Turn on captionsor Turn off captions.
Customize captions
- On your computer, go to Google Meet .
- Join a meeting.
- At the bottom, click More
Settings
- Under “Customize your captions,” choose your preferred settings:
- Font
- Font size
- Font color
- Background color
- Click Close.
Tip:Your settings are automatically saved.
View past captions
If captions are turned on, you can review the captions of the previous parts of a conversation.
You can scroll up or down to review the captions. Captions only display for the parts of the conversation where you’re in the meeting and have captions turned on.
