How to set up a policy for local pickup

Note:The pickup configuration is visible only to the merchants who have enabled the “Local inventory ads” or “Free local listings” add-on. To check if local pickup is available in your country, refer to  Local inventory ads and free local listings overview article.

1. In your Merchant Center account , go to the Shipping and returnssection under Products & storein the left navigation menu.

2. Under the “Shipping policies” tab, select Local pickup.

3. Select Add local pickup.

4. Add the below pickup details:

  • Policy name: This field is for your reference only and will not appear in search results.
  • Locations: Select the country with active pickup in your local inventory ads or free local listings add-on.
  • Product pickup times (SLA): In this section, you can specify the expected date when an order will be ready for pickup, relative to when the order is placed.
    • Under “Products”, select “all products” if the same pickup SLA applies to all products or “Specific products” if your pickup SLA only applies to a selection of products or if you have different pickup SLAs on your website. Under “Product grouping”, filter products by “brand” or “Custom label”
    • Under “Estimated pickup”, select the pickup SLA that matches the SLA communicated on your product pages or at check-out. You can use any of the supported pickup_SLAs in the exception of “same day”.

5. Review the pickup policy information and select Save.
