For Workspace for Education users , NotebookLM is now a core service (like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Docs).
How to Upgrade:
If you want higher limits and additional features with a work or school Google Account, your organization needs to upgrade to a Google Workspace plan that includes higher limits or to a Gemini Education plan. Contact your Google Workspace administrator to request an upgraded license.

Higher limits and additional features are only available with certain eligible editions. To check if you have expanded excess in the NotebookLM app:
- Open NotebookLM in browser
- Make sure you are signed into your Google work or school account.
- At the top, check if you have the distinct Pro badge next to your user profile image. If you find the Pro badge, you have access to higher limits and additional features.
