Customize the lock screen on your Pixel phone

1. On your phone's home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
2. Tap Wallpaper & style.
3. Swipe right to Lock screen.
4. To find lock screen settings, swipe up.
5. Tap Clock.
6. At the bottom, select the setting you’d like to change:
   • Style:Choose among preset clock styles.
     • To adjust the clock width, use the slider.
   • Color:Change the clock color manually or match it with your wallpaper theme.
     • To adjust the shade, use the slider.
   • Size:To set the clock size you want, toggle Largeon or off.
7. Tap Apply.

3. Swipe right to Lock screen.
4. To find lock screen settings, swipe up.
5. Tap Shortcuts.
6. At the bottom, tap Left shortcutor Right shortcut.
7. Tap the shortcut you want to use.
8. Tap Apply.

5. Tap Notifications on lock screen.
6. To show or hide notifications, turn Onon or off.
7. To choose how your notifications show on your lock screen, tap Compact Viewor Full list.
8. Choose other notifications settings to show on your lock screen:
   • To show or hide viewed notifications, turn Show viewed notification iconson or off.
   • To show or hide silent notifications, turn Show silent notificationson or off.
   • To show or hide sensitive content, turn Show sensitive contenton or off.

Tip:You can turn off biometric unlock and stop showing notifications on your lock screen. Learn more about Lockdown .

4. To find lock screen settings, swipe up.
5. Tap More lock screen settings.
6. Choose what shows on your lock screen:
   • To control notifications, tap Notifications on lock screen.
   • To add a line of text to your lock screen, tap Add text on lock screen.
   • To enable device controls even when your phone is locked, turn on Use device controls.
   • To add lock screen shortcuts, tap Shortcuts.
   • To make the clock size change based on the lock screen content, turn on Dynamic clock.
   • To show info on songs that play nearby, Tap Now Playing.
7. Choose when you’d like notifications to show:
   • To check notifications when you tap your screen:
     1. Tap Tap to check phone.
     2. Turn on Tap to check phone.
   • To check notifications when you pick up your phone:
     1. Tap Lift to check phone.
     2. Turn on Lift to check phone.
   • To make the screen turn on when there are new notifications, turn on Wake screen for notifications.
