In your Content Manager settings, the Permissionspage shows Content Manager users and what role they’ve been assigned.
From here, you can view all users, filter to find specific users, export a list of users, and remove users who no longer need access.
To view a list of all the users with access to your Content Manager:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
To narrow down the list, you can click Select filter and filter users by Keyword
or Roles

To export the list, go to Export a list of users .
To search for a specific Content Manager user:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
- Click Select filter
Keyword.
- Enter a keyword, such as a name or email address
APPLY.
- Note: Search is not case-sensitive. Your search terms can't include wildcard characters.
To view a list of all Content Manager users assigned to a specific role:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
- Click Select filter
Roles. A list of all the roles you’ve created in your Content Manager will appear.
- Check the box next to the role you want to filter on. You can also start entering the name of a role to narrow down the list.
To change the role that’s assigned to a user:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
- Find the user you want to update.
- To narrow down the list, click Select filter
Keyword and enter their name or email address.
- To narrow down the list, click Select filter
- Click the name of their assigned role.
- Select the new role you want to assign to them.
- Click SAVEto save the changes.
To export a list of Content Manager users:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
- Check the box next to each user whose information you want to export.
- To select all users on a page, click the checkbox at the top.
- To select all Content Manager users, click the checkbox at the top
Select all.
- Click Export
Comma-separated values (.csv)
. The file will download automatically.

To remove a user from your Content Manager:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager .
- From the left menu, select Settings
.
- Click Permissions.
- Find the user you want to remove.
- To narrow down the list, click Select filter
Keyword and enter their name or email address.
- To narrow down the list, click Select filter
- Click the role name.
- Select Remove access.
- Click SAVE to save changes.
A message will appear at the bottom of the page confirming that the user was successfully removed from your Content Manager.
