As your organization's administrator, you can choose the types of product and educational emails you'd like to receive from Google. If you use Security advisor, you can also get periodic emails with security recommendations.
Account and product emails
Critical notifications and updates are only sent to your account's primary administrator. The primary administrator is the person who signed up for your Google Workspace service. If needed, learn how to change your primary administrator .
All other emails are sent to Google Workspace account administrators who have Domain Settings privileges . These emails can include:
- Tips and updates
- Feature announcements
- Offers from Google
- Surveys and testing invitations
Administrators can opt out of an email at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email.
Educational emails
You can choose to have your organization’s Google Workspace users receive emails with best practices, tips, and feature updates by checking the Product education and updates for usersbox in your communication preferences.
Update your email communication preferences
- Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.
If you aren’t using an administrator account, you can’t access the Admin console.
- Go to Menu Account > Account settings > Preferences .
Requires having the Domain settings administrator privilege.
- In the Communications preferencessection, click Email.
- Select the types of emails sent to admins and other users.
- Click Save.
Security advisor emails
