Get updates with “Catch me up”
Important: This feature is only available on Drive web ( drive.google.com ).
If a Google Doc or Sheet has a Catch me upnext to the file name, there’s new information to catch up on. If you click the Catch me up badge, it gives you an update on all changes and comments to the document since your last view.
Manage summary cards on PDFs and videos
When you open a PDF or a video with a transcript in Drive, a summary card may appear to give you a quick overview of the file.
To turn off summary cards:
- Open a PDF or video file.
- On the summary card or in the file toolbar at the top, click More.
- Click Disable summary cards.
To turn summary cards back on:
- Open a PDF or video file.
- In the file toolbar at the top, click More.
- Click Enable summary cards.
