The entire vessel is covered with dripping green bidoro glaze. The body is divided into two sections by a raised section, with a spatula-pressed pattern on top section and a grid pattern on the lower section. This piece may be the work of Tōdō Iga and fired at the Dōtani Kiln at Marubashira.
