Yarn

A thread (or yarn) is a continuous strand made from either natural fibres of vegetable or animal origin, metal or man-made fibres, by the processes of spinning, twisting, reeling or throwing. It is the basic unit used in the construction of textiles, and its primary requirements are flexibility and length.
