Thank you! Could you also make an extension for fixing the titles of Physical Review series journals? They just changed their format for naming the downloaded pdf files.

That's what I was searching for💥 . Otherwise I was going to make my own.

As of today it seems to not work anymore for me. It does not change the name. And I do not want to figure out how to write the script that would do that. I liked it when it worked. a lot.. meaningful file names as a good thing.

Hi, could you try installing the extension on a fresh Chrome installation? It may be conflicting with one of your other installed extensions. You may consider opening an issue report here: https://github.com/j3soon/arxiv-utils/issues

Great! But if it can be written in some scripts in other all-in-one extensions...

For the past 6 years I have been clicking through each arxiv tab until I find the correct one. Now I finally realize this extension exists!

I've been using arxiv-utils a few months now and I've never felt better. I have more energy. My skin is clearer. My eye sight has improved. A+

Really useful. Thanks! Clicking direct download does its renaming nicely, but for some reason right click and "save link as..." (the logic action if one wants to save without opening) still proposes an ugly numeric name.

It's not working. Anyone can help?

Fixed in the v1.8.2 release. You may need to wait a few days for the Chrome Extension review process to be completed (or you can install directly from source). Related: https://github.com/j3soon/arxiv-utils/issues/29

Fantastic! This is exactly what I wanted!

Easy and convenient to Use. Especially "Direct Download" ( a lot of paper's title contains ":" and "\n" which need rename, this extension fix this problem)
