Thank you for highlighting my empty bookmark folders that I thankfully had imported a backup after 50 were deleted by Bookmarks Clean Up - my first bookmark managing extension I tried for removing broken links but then got curious about their remove empty folders function which did not show a message of what it would do when hovered over/a 2nd step to choose/a confirmation dialogue box/a view of what was gone without an undo. So glad I finally found this to restore the rest I could not remember.

By far the best and easiest to use to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, I've tried the others and it was either too complicated or it didn't select the dupes for you.
