FTTF stopped working after a couple of days

I was trying FTTF very happily over the last couple of days, but suddenly it stopped working.

Before, the settings page was long, including a list of blocked URLs and the ability to add more URLs to the list. Now, when I click the Settings button I just get this popping up:
[empty box to type commands]
DB: Import...
DB: Export..
Ul: Toggle Show Stats
Dev: Toggle Query Processing
Dev: Reindex

Toggle Show Stats does toggle the stats, but the other buttons don't do anything.

I don't know if the relaunch of Chrome for an update upset things, or if I inadvertently clicked or typed something that resulted in my losing that settings page. How do I get the full settings back please?

More to the point, searching has also stopped working. Instead of search results, whatever I try to search, I now get:
"Showing undefined of undefined. Took NaNms."

Even though the stats say
Documents: 12,535
Fragments: 792,010
Size: 665.29MB

I have also tried exiting and restarting Chrome, but it's still the same. The number of documents does seem to go up so it must be indexing in the background, I just can't search or access the full settings anymore!

I would be grateful for any advice, is there any command I can type to fix this, while also preserving the database of webpages I've been trying to get indexed over the last few days? Thanks in advance.

Permissions

Hi. Could you explain why this plugin wants permission to "Read and change my data on all websites"? That sounds like a very dangerous permission to grant!

Exporting/Accessing data stored

Is there feasible way to get _at_ the data FTTF has stored? I'd love to have access to the data for my own use.
