Done with the service-- how do I cancel the recurring subscription?
I have finihsed using the extension-- it worked great, but now I don't even use Twitter/X anymore, and wish to cancel my service. How do I go about doing that?

try something else
Hi, thanks for the offer, but I'll probably just try something else. I'm guessing I have 3000 or so bookmarks still. How do I end my subscription? Thanks for your assistance in trying to figure this out.

Still not working
Sadly, I've tried everything I can think of but it still doesn't work anymore. I've tried uninstalling "X", running the program until it says it's done. Waiting a few days before reinstalling X. But all the bookmarks come back up to where they were left off.
When the bookmarks all reappear in Chrome they all appear to be unchecked but still propagated into my bookmarks section. The only way to remove them is to one by one re-check them, and then uncheck them again. Manually.
Is this something you can fix?

tried
I went ahead and tried that. Ran the extension, which ended after 10 seconds. Refreshed and all the bookmarks were gone. I deleted the X app. Waited an hour and reinstalled. Navigated to bookmarks in the app and they were empty (not loaded into the app yet). but when I refreshed they all came back.

one more thing
I have not run the extension in chrome yet, but ALL of my bookmarks (except the new one I just added) appear to be unchecked - in every browser AND on mobile!
When I page down to see more and more, they are all unchecked.
I'll hold off using the extension in case you want me to try something

update
Hi,
I've been checking on this and experimenting since my last update. For the first few days the extension would only last for 10-15 seconds before getting the "done" message. Interestingly, I noticed a few days ago suddenly ALL my bookmarks are unchecked. Both in Chrome and in Firefox. When I refreshed everything in Chrome went away. I wanted to see what would happen my next attempt if I preloaded a tons of posts (by using the page down key to have them all on the same page). But for days now it still has not refreshed to show my bookmarks. This morning I checked in Firefox and Safari and those browsers are now also showing that there are no bookmarks!
....but... on my iphone they remain at the same spot where I left off days ago.
On Firefox I just added a new bookmark to see what would happen. When I navigated to the bookmarks page the new bookmark loaded, and after a small pause all the previous bookmarks suddenly came back up to where I last successfully deleted them. I reopened Chrome, navigated to bookmarks, and the new bookmark appears after a second, and then after another second all the previous ones as well (up to where it left off last deleting)

Update
Hi, I just got your new replies now (noon, 12/7). Happy to provide additional info if that helps you. Not sure what you meant about different bookmarks in that one reply. I stopped adding new bookmarks because I'm waiting to clear out my old ones. For two years I've been keeping them but finally exported them all and want to start over. So no new bookmarks.
After the instance yesterday, all day I was refreshing Chrome and they wouldn't appear. Tried restarting my Mac and restarting Chrome too. You might be right about UTC, because today they all finally reappeared.
This time I restarted your extension and made note of the time. Unfortunately it was less than a minute before it said "Done! Refresh manually". After refresh Chrome is again showing my bookmarks are cleared.
Hope this helps.

small update
When I left that chrome page to come here and write that last update, it must have done something. When I went back after those few minutes I'm seeing the "Done. Refresh manually" message, and again my bookmarks in Chrome are all empty (but not on mobile or other browsers)
I refreshed and clicked remove and it acts like it's removing something but nothing is there.
I just checked now and it's saying Done again. Just FYI
I'll wait for the bookmarks to reappear and when I go to remove them I'll make sure to not leave that window. Hope this is useful

It works now! (mostly... I think)
I was finally able to remove the bookmarks that were not deleting on mobile by checking and then unchecking them. I tried that before (maybe on desktop) but it didn't work. So it's operating correctly. When I came back after some time there was another stuck bookmark which I needed to remove. After removing I refreshed and for some reason my desktop was showing all my bookmarks were gone! Except on mobile and other browsers it wasn't. I tried restarting, refreshing, but on Chrome it was showing no bookmarks. I slept on it and this morning they are back (but a few months were successfully deleted. So I'm proceeding again now. Thanks for the support.

"Done! Refresh manually" more frequent
Thanks for the new release. The "Done! Refresh manually" problem is still occurring for me. I timed 5 attempts and it happens after 8 or 9 seconds. I 'think' the issue is I have 8 bookmarks still present at the top of my bookmarks page which won't go away even though they are unchecked. I have attempted multiple times to contact X using @support and @grok but grok keeps giving me inaccurate information. First off, Grok keeps saying the ability to bulk delete all bookmarks should appear on the top right of the bookmarks page (three dots you clicks). Google searches say it's there but only on mobile. When I reply that I don't have it Grok tells me to "report a problem" using a feature that doesn't exist (at least for me). Grok says these features are available for all users.
I do see a difference in the new release. Previously I could see the page scrolling, but now that has stopped. The "Done! Refresh manually" problem used to take a few minutes but now it's only seconds. Hope this info helps.
