Duo2anki opening additional duolingo tab in endless loop

I have tried using this extension to study Swahili, but every time I try and hit the "open words page" button, Duo2anki will then begin to endlessly open Duolingo tabs until I have successfully closed every tab. I have tried many things, such as disabling all other extensions, deleting and redownloading this extension, using it in the incognito tab, disconnecting my Duolingo account from Facebook, and resetting the password. using another Chrome account, restarting Chrome, resetting my cookies, resetting my Chrome settings, etc. None of these troubleshooting steps has yielded any solution, so I believe that there is a problem with the extension itself. I would really appreciate it if this extension could be fixed because I think it is an extremely useful tool. Please let me know if you have any questions.
