Set up initiation

Hi, I am just quite lost what should I do to start using Global speed. Just download the extension but don't know where to start ---how to use the shortcuts, where to edit them etc. I find the shortcut editor and set speed - 0.1 as command C. But when I try to slow down the audio in google drive using command C nothing happens, The same thing happens to Youtube. So I am just wondering is there anything I need to do to make it start working. Also the speed - 0.1 applies to global speed or local speed? Is there any documents that I could refer to containing these information?Thanks

Delay after button press

I found sometimes it won't work immediately as soon as I press some button such as "D" to increase speed. Instead, it works after several seconds after I pressed the button.

Hello! I am trying to use Global Speed to rewind videos 5 seconds when NOT in focus. I have 2 monitors, one with Google Doc open and the other with videos from all around the web. When i focused on YouTube and press Z, it rewinds 5 seconds. But when i am focused on a video hosted by a GoHighLevel server, only the left arrow works to rewind 5 seconds. First I need to solve this problem, then I need to solve the Google Docs focus problem. I would like to rewind 5 seconds while typing in Google Docs, no matter where the video is hosted.

Pressing "d" a few times fast forwards the video

I've tried this both on Chrome and on Edge. This never used to happen, but now when I press D a few times to increase speed, after maybe a few presses, the video suddenly fast forwards some number of seconds...

Set local sqeed

I can use "Q" to switch between local and global speed but I found the latesest version doesn't have this shortcut. Why?
