How to keep words in reader when playing?

Hi, thank you for the extension. :) Is there a way to keep the paragraph text that displays at the bottom of the window, to keep displaying rather than disappearing when playing the reader? I had a look through the settings but couldn't see an option like "show when playing" or "hide when playing". Apologies if it's a simple question, thanks for any help. :)

Not launching

I've been using this extension for years, truly love it. For some reason it isn't launching, can't seem to figure out why. It won't launch from the right click menu after selecting text, it won't launch with the hot keys associated with it, and it won't launch from the launch option in the right click menu as utilized on the extension icon in Google Chrome's toolbar.

Not able to start

For some reason, I'm clicking the option for sprint reading when I right click a block of text, but I can't seem to get it working. I am on Windows 11 and was wondering if that was the reason because I've only seen people on Mac use this.

Stop splitting words at 'single quote'

Hi. Excellent app. I need one help. The app keeps splitting words at single quote. for eg. doesn't shows up as "doesn'" and "t" rather than showing it as one word, "doesn't". Any settings I can tweak to fix this?

Request to add Japanese language support and voice reading function

Dear Developer of Speed Reading Extension,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the creation of additional Japanese language support and voice reading functionality for your RSVP app, Speed Reading Extension.

As a user of the app, I have found it to be incredibly useful for improving my reading speed and comprehension. However, I have a friend who is a native Japanese speaker and would also like to use the app to improve their reading skills. While the app currently supports Japanese, it would be even more helpful if the voice reading functionality were also available in Japanese.

Additionally, having the option for the app to read out the text in Japanese would be a valuable feature for those who struggle with reading, or for those who simply prefer to listen to the text being read. This feature would greatly enhance the app's usefulness and make it more accessible to a wider range of users.

I understand that these additions may require a significant effort on your part, but I believe they would greatly benefit your users and contribute to the overall success of the app.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Best regards,

Need this extension so bad!

Our 'Alphabet friends' soon will drop extensions and yours is one which I use a lot. Is there a way that we can use it as a standalone in linux, maybe. By the way I am sending this message from my uncle's account. my email is sigfredolopez@gmail.com How much willl you charge me to have a standalone copy?

This is serious, your extension I find to be very useful in education and as an attention grabbing device for the elderly. I am so sorry this is happening

having the words prevous and the word comming up next visable

This is the best speed reading app that I have found so far.

The only thing that would make it perfect is if it had the option to show what the previous word was and the next word is on either side of the word being presented, except in a much smaller font and in a color that is less intrusive to the eye, liike instead of black text on a white background, the previous and next words would be 1/5th the size of the main word, and would be medium grey instead of black on a white background

also having a large string of previous and upcoming words in much smaller text below the main word (again in a lighter text color) would also be helpful for myself. Having these as optional to the user would be very cool and would make this the perfect speed-reader for myself
