Memory Saver

Leaving a bad review because the dev doesn't seem too polite in the reviews.

Very good, memory went from 35 to 18 great extension would reccomend

Works great, cut my chrome memory usage from 5 GB to 1.5 GB (trust me that's good by the standards of my lobotomized gaming laptop). Any problems the negative reviews mention have been fixed by now. Do be warned, it does reload all of your tabs at the same time upon installing which might cause memory usage to go up momentarily, but after that there have been no hiccups so far. Would be even better if there was a feature to choose specific tabs to not auto-close.

Works perfectly! I hope people realize that they should read the mechanics of how this extension works. By the way, maybe change the wording from "Discard all tabs" to "Put all tabs to sleep", it made me a bit confused at first!

So there's a problem with this extension where selecting to open a link in new tab just returns an about:blank page this started happening recently if that helps No other problems so far

Bro i installed it then closed all my tabs and i could even change the settings and it conviniently happend after I installed the extension.

Sorry to hear, this is by design as the extensions has to "talk to" every single tab. BTW the extension doesn't close any tab, it just reloads all of them when you install for the 1st time.

Worst extension ever. Closed all my tabs before I could adjust any settings and completely deleted them, couldn't restore them through the extension or with Ctrl+Shift+T before or after uninstalling it.

My extensions doesn't delete any tab. Also, you should read the extension description before installing it and leaving any negative feedback! Before blaming my extension, i recommend to follow these steps: 1 - disable all chrome extensions 2 - keep enabled only Memory Saver extension If by following the steps above the issue is still there...it means the issue is caused by another extension.

Atleast now Chrome isn't bugging me about memory being full

This extension was the cause of not being able to open links to in new tabs (command-click links). I had to disable all my extensions to figure out which app was causing this annoying problem and it turned put to be this. So writing this review as a warning to other users who might be experiencing this problem.

Sorry but i can't replicate your problem, perhaps is your pc or another app that is causing the issue? Before blaming my extension, i recommend to follow these steps: 1 - disable all chrome extensions 2 - keep enabled only Memory Saver extension If by following the steps above the issue is still there...it means the issue is caused by another extension.
