Ongoing issue with Virtru extension and Gmail Oops error message

We have several staff reporting the oops message ONLY when sending encrypted gmail via Vitru. I have the Vitru extension pushed out via Google Admin. I have checked network cables/settings (replaced ethernet cable on desktop & also on patchpanel/switch side). Checked switchport error logs and no connectivity issues with our network being an issue. We cannot be the only Google/Virtru customer having this problem. Vitru version installed is 12.7.6.

Unable to Install

When trying to install the extension on Chrome I receive an immediate error. After clicking the "Add Extension" button, a message pops up that reads "An Error Has Occured / USER_CANCELED" with two options of "Reload" or "Close". Do you know why this is happening or how to troubleshoot it?

Outlook

I use outlook as my page to access and work on my gmail accounts as it is much more functional If I activate virtu for the gmail accounts will it work in encryption in outlook?
