I REALLY wanted to like this extension! The volume differences on various YouTube videos was really bugging me, particularly in my playlists. So I tried installing this Normalize Volume extension. Unfortunately, I've found that instead of boosting the volume on quiet videos, it dampens down the sound of normal-volume videos. This seriously muddies the audio.
