Bug Report: Extension Causing Google Docs to Crash When Adding Comments

I’m writing to report an issue with the Audio Recordings for Google Classroom – Beep Chrome extension. I’ve used and recommended your tool for years, but recently discovered that it is causing Google Docs to crash whenever I attempt to add a comment.

After testing multiple scenarios—including clearing cache, disabling other extensions, and switching Chrome profiles—I isolated the problem to this extension. Disabling or removing Beep immediately resolves the issue.

I wanted to share this in case others have reported similar behavior, and in the hope that your team might be able to investigate and address the conflict. Beep is a great tool, and I’d love to continue using and recommending it if the compatibility issue can be resolved.

For now, I have removed the extension from my Chrome. I would love to be notified at sydney@rosewritingcenter.com if/when the issue is resolved so I can reinstall it.

Extension Disapeared

I am a teacher. I added Beep, used it twice in google class. When I went back in it had disappeared. I removed it from chrome then added it again but it still doesn't appear to be there.

can't hear the recordings

I am trying to use the extension BEEP to record comments for students inside the classroom app. I can record but there is no sound coming up when I play itI have tried the same action in different computers and is no use. What do you suggest?

Students unable to hear my comments

I make comments. I can hear them. But when I insert into the comments of a doc in Classroom the students cannot hear it.
