Great for studying world history

Great addon, i used Sessionbuddy until now for this, but after their last update the icon no longer displays the number, so i did need something that does that. And this extension does exactly that. Can really recommend this one.

it would be good, but it slows down browser start time terribly, eating ram for minutes, basically unusable with many tabs and windows

I use this extension with almost 1000 tabs with no issues. Restoring that many tabs on browser start is going to be slow with or without the extension. I've never seen the extension eat up RAM.

Not perfect, but from the existing ones is one of the best ones.
