AlloyDB Omni RPM
is compatible with
PostgreSQL 18
, and includes collection of RPM bundle for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
based VM or bare metal environments, while the
AlloyDB Omni Red Hat RPM orchestrator
provides automation for a quick and straightforward way of deployment, fits into the framework of the automation systems such as Ansible, and delivers a user experience that mirrors the
AlloyDB Omni Kubernetes operator
.
Key features of this release include flexible HA (Highly Available) deployments, robust failure handling, comprehensive security, connection pooling, cluster upgrades, observability, log management for audits, data protection (backups and restore), cluster maintenance, scaling, and fleet management.
