All emails are fetched from your phone and stored on your device directly. We access new email subject headers (deleted thereafter), required to send notifications of an email arrival. Only commercial emails (example: receipts, Travel, Package Delivery) are stored to deliver Edison Mail Assistant features built into the Email app and Edison Trends. Personal information like your name or email address is NEVER shared. If you’d prefer to opt-out of participating in our anonymized research, you can do so in the settings menu.

The app is clean and quick. Does most of what I need without having to think about it. The only problem i have is with the search function. When searching from the inbox, it does not check any folders other than the one folder I am in. I have to manually select each folder to search for something, which takes a lot of time. Inbox should reference all folders within it, not just the uncategorized inbox.

** Updated review ** Firstly, outstanding customer service. While my issue could never be resolved, and it was on me not them, they never gave up and continued to troubleshoot with me the entire time. Long story short I was unable to add my university email. As it turns out there are restrictions on my university side. The process was frustrating, I initially believed this to be on the mail client side, and I apologize if my original response was rude. Anyway, this app is AMAZING!!

This app used to be great, but now it's a pain the search feature is slow and it can barely find emails from 2 days ago and half the time. It's not in sync.I have to go to the emails website to find anything. It was a great app and then they started adding all these internet purchases and slowly over time, it just became worse and worse and worse.I don't recommend it anymore
