A very fun, challenging and unique game that serves as a great way to pass the time. Each level oozes that handcrafted feel, and you can tell that careful thought was put into each one. The objective is fairly simple, but hard to master, meaning that while some levels may be a cakewalk, others may prove to be far more challenging. My biggest complaint would be the lack of levels. Of course, indie development is a tough process, but it's kind of disheartening to see my journey end so soon. Solid.

Great logic puzzle. Once you get the hold of it, it became quite easy but satisfyingly fun. The last few 3-city levels were quite tough and took forever to figure out, but so rewarding when solved. Strangely, 4-city and 5-city levels were easier than expect, probably due to how flexible the layout coud be compare to a board packed with 3-city. Hybrid levels with different city size in one board might be fun to try!

Close Cities is an exceptional reminder for what mobile gaming should be! It offers a fresh take on the 'area management' puzzle subgenre, disguised by a cute and whimsical theme. Informative tutorial, good difficulty curve, and excellent controls! Although at times I did yearn for a 'reset' button to easily restart a level. Buy the ad-free version if you can! This game is a gem and should be promoted above the false ads, and microtransaction scum that pervades mobile gaming nowadays.
