Blokada 6: The Privacy App+VPN

Its okay, the issue is the app only blocks ads on certain allowable apps. Things like YouTube will not fall under Blokada, which is unfortunate. It also tends to get you blocked from a good handful of sites, which is not the fault of the app, but still adds to the experience nonetheless. I kinda also wish that the app listed the differences between the filter options it has or allowed you to look into what they block specifically, because they all generally tend to have the same description.

I was initially disappointed with having to pay after being a free member for a good bit, but after using it for a while, I really don't mind for what it offers. The year price was like $16-17 which is practically nothing, and the service you get out of it is significantly smoother and cleaner than the previous version. I like how I can fine tune the system to block specific elements of an app, after just a half hour of tinkering I can confidently say you won't find an ad anywhere on my phone 😂

I really wanted to love this app, and have used the paid version for a couple of years and multiple devices. However it just seems to be unreliable, buggy and problematic. At random times it blocks all internet traffic, and regularly blocks and breaks websites I want to see and that had worked previously. I'm guessing updates to block lists or the program are the fault. It also slows traffic Way down. The developers tend to be responsive about helping with problems.
