- AWS account IDs displayed on the AWS Console and Multi-Session Limit page.
- User-defined mappings of AWS account IDs to friendly names, stored locally through Chrome's storage API.
2. How We Use Information
- The Extension uses the accessed AWS account IDs solely to replace them with user-friendly names as defined in your mappings.
- Imported or exported mappings are handled locally, and no data is transmitted to external servers.
3. Data Sharing and Transfers
- The Extension does not share, sell, or transfer any information to third parties.
- No third-party analytics or tracking mechanisms are embedded.
4. Permissions and Access
To function effectively, the Extension requests the following permissions:
- tabs, activeTab: To identify AWS Console and Multi-Session Limit pages.
- scripting: To modify page content for ID replacement.
- storage: To save, retrieve, and synchronize user mappings.
- Host Permissions: Limited to
*.aws.amazon.com/*
and *://*.signin.aws.amazon.com/*
to ensure controlled access.
5. Data Security
Data stored by the Extension is kept locally on your browser. We use Chrome's secure storage API to safeguard your mappings. However, the security of data depends on maintaining secure access to your browser and device.
6. User Rights
- You can view, update, and delete your mappings within the Extension.
- Uninstalling the Extension will remove all locally stored data.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
