Export a report

To use export, your report needs at least one metric. Note that exported reports always use the flat table structure, even if you chose to display your data in the hierarchical structure within Ad Manager.

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Click Reporting, then Interactive reports.
  3. Select an existing report, or create a new report.
  4. In a report, click Export, then select a file type.
Currently supported export types include CSV, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel. The CSV and XLSX options can be downloaded.
  5. Under "Additional data," make your selections:
    • Include report properties (selected by default): Includes report details — such as report name, run time, and filters — that appear at the top of CSV files and in a separate tab for Google Sheets and Excel files.
    • Include hidden or filtered data: Includes sections you've filtered or hidden, such as columns.
    • Include fields added for formatting: Includes fields added to format the report. For example, ID fields and end dates are added for certain dimensions, and "Line item currency code" is added to format some line item attributes.
    • Include totals row: Includes a row with the total for count metrics, or the average for percentage and rate driven metrics.
    • Use API column names : Includes the API column name (such as COUNTRY_NAME) in the header row instead of the localized name (such as "Country"). Learn more about API column names in the API Developer docs .
  6. If you selected XLSX or CSV for the file type, under "Delivery," the "Download" export method is currently available.
  7. Click Export.
