To prevent unwanted bookings, you can ask guests without a Google Account to verify their email before they book an appointment.
Learn how email verification works
- To use email verification for appointment schedules, you need to have an eligible Google Workspace subscription. Learn more about premium features for appointment schedules .
- By default, email verification is off.
- When you sign in to a Google Account and make an appointment:
- Your booking details are pre-filled.
- You aren't asked to submit a PIN.
Turn email verification on or off
- On your computer, open Google Calendar .
- Create or edit an appointment schedule.
- Under “Booking form,” check or uncheck the “Require email verification” box.
- Click Save.
Verify your email to you book an appointment
- Fill out the booking form with your email address.
- Check your email for a PIN.
- On the booking page, enter the PIN.
- Click Submit.
