You can use Street View to explore places more closely. Zoom in to check out buildings, landmarks, bridges, and more.
Tip:Street View images aren’t available everywhere. Discover where Street View is available .
Open Street View
- On your computer, open Google Earth .
- Click a place or search for a location.
- At the bottom, click Pegman.
- Select a highlighted area.
Tip:If areas are highlighted in blue, you can find images of those places in Street View.
Change your view
- To change your view: Drag the screen.
- To return to a north-facing view: At the bottom right, click the compass.
- If you move to a new area, white arrows appear onscreen. Click an arrow to move in that direction.
Zoom in or out
- For a closer view:At the bottom right, click Zoom in.
- For a farther view:At the bottom right, click Zoom out.
Report a problem
To report an image quality issue or request blurring for Street View imagery:
- On your computer, open Google Earth .
- Click a place or search for a location.
- At the bottom, click Pegman.
- Select a highlighted area.
- At the bottom left, click Report a problem.
- Fill out the form and click Submit.

Exit Street View
To exit Street View, at the top left, click Back.
