Check storage space

1. On your Android device, open Files by Google.
2. Tap MenuClean .
3. At the top, you find the devices used and available storage space.
   • If your phone has an SD card, you also find the SD card's storage space.

If you don’t find your SD card in Files by Google:

1. On your device, open your Settings.
2. Tap Device maintenance Storage.
3. Check if your SD card is recognized.
   • If the SD card isn’t recognized in Settings:Remove and reinsert the SD card.
   • If the SD card is recognized in Settings but not in Files by Google:The SD card may be formatted as internal storage. Learn how to format an SD card as a portable storage .
