Add & edit fitness activities

You can manually add activity to your Google Fit activity history or edit an activity that’s already there. You can also start challenges, log your weight, and more.

Add information

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add .
  3. Choose an option:
    • Add blood pressure .
    • Add weight .
    • Add activity .
    • Track workout.

Edit your activity

After you complete your activity or workout, it will save to your journal in Google Fit. If the activity wasn’t saved correctly, you can change it.

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app.
  2. Tap Journal.
  3. Tap the activity you want to change.
  4. At the top, tap More  Edit.

Add info you didn't track with Fit

If you don't have your device with you as you walk, run, or bike, you can add those activities to Google Fit later. You can also add weight changes or activities that Fit doesn't automatically track (like weightlifting, rowing, or baseball).

  1. On your Android phone, open the Google Fit app.
  2. At the bottom right, tap Add.
  3. Tap Add weight or Add activity.
  4. Enter your information and tap Save.
