Manage webpages in the Google app

When you search the web with the Google app, you can open webpages without a browser. This means you can:

• Open search result links faster.
• Stay in the Google app.
• Copy, share, or reopen a link in your browser.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app.
2. Do a search.
3. Tap a search result link.
   • A webpage will open inside the Google app.

2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial Settings General.
3. Turn Open web pages in the app on or off.

When you open a webpage in the Google app, you can use that link. For example, you can:

• Share a link:Tap Share. Then, choose an app, like Gmail or Messages.
• Copy a link:Tap More Copy link. Then, paste the link wherever you'd like.
• Open a link in your browser:Tap More Open in browseror Open in Chrome. Then, you can use browser features, like bookmarks.
• Save a page:To save the page to your favorites, tap Save.  Learn how to find your saved items .
