Icon shapes will now adapt to the device of the user when creating or modifying a private web app . This means that part of the icon will be masked, so ensure that your icons are formatted following maskable icon guidelines .
This change will be rolled out over the next few weeks and will apply to both new web apps and existing web apps that are updated after the roll out.
