A retrofit smart lock is the simplest and quickest way to make your lock smart, and boost your door’s security. The Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi attaches to your existing deadbolt on the inside of your door, leaving the outside untouched.
You can install anywhere within 30 feet of Bluetooth range to your Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi.
The Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi installs easily under 10 minutes. Just unscrew the inside thumb turn, attach the mounting plate, and add your new lock. All you need is a screwdriver.
You can store 250 codes via the Yale Access app.
The Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi has a 12-month battery life, and the Yale Keypad has a 7-month battery life.
The Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi comes with 4 AA batteries and the Yale Keypad comes with 4 AAA batteries for you to easily change your battery when it runs low.
