Product is amazing.

The light kit for this helmet is truly amazing. It makes an already impressive piece better. This was my first light kit for a piece and so I found it all a bit fiddly but this isn't the reason for the 2* rating.
After I installed this kit I wasn't sure whether or not I received the correct one as I ordered the IR switch edition. I contacted customer service and this is where the issues started. It was confirmed I had received the correct set however, failing to answer questions or correct assumptions on two occasions. And with another reply linking me to a YouTube video of two people covering part of the switch with their finger and plugging and unplugging it into the power supply with ZERO context on what is actually going on, has lead me to be even more confused than before.

Ultimately IF I were to purchase again from this company I would probably go with a standard edition or a remote edition so that way there would be no issues unless the kit didn't work.
More Clones!
Henald· Review provided by LEGO · March 14, 2023
This is my first Lego Helmet, and my first substantial Lego set in 10 years. I had been waiting for a Clone Trooper helmet ever since the announcement of the first wave of Lego Helmets. I'm shocked it took so long. Bonus points that they gave us Rex! The build was very fun and the design was very creative, and I think it looks even better in person than in the images. I dropped a point for build experience because of the number of stickers (more than 15).

I would love if Lego made more Clone helmets, provided there is enough variability between designs. After all, the Clones have so much variety in terms of their helmets. The fan base for Lego Clone Wars is unlike any other, so I would expect it to be worth it from a sales perspective. I understand Lego wants to focus on whatever is currently trending in the Star Wars universe, but so many were brought up on the Clone Wars with all the Lego Clone Wars sets. Example helmets might include a regular Phase II helmet (since Rex's Phase II is a hybrid of Phase I and II), arc trooper, paratrooper, 501st etc. I think it was quite strange to make Phase I Commander Cody, since his Phase II helmet is far more iconic, and I'd purchase a Phase II Cody, but I can understand if they don't make one since we already have his Phase I helmet.

Thanks to excellent craftsmanship and creative production idea, the bottom of the helmet has a nice appearance. It is well-made. The final output looks amazing, the bricks are of high quality, ensuring durability. It is a lot of fun to put together and is rather simple to create. The direction is clear as well. It is a great addition to my collection of helmets. I put it next to the clone commander helmet in my office. The money is well spent. I endorse it, especially for fans of the Star Wars universe.
[Rewarded Review] Captain Rex
Jazzy· Review provided by bestbuy.com · November 25, 2023
I'm a big Rex fan so when I saw that they had this I had to get it, it just looked so cool. I actually haven't had legos in years, but seeing this I had to get. I think it was worth it.
The only issue i have with the set is you have to put stickers on some parts. I honestly think it would be better if they just made those pieces with the design instead of you putting stickers on, it can be a little annoying trying to make sure the stickers are not crooked, especially in the middle of the jaig eyes. That really should be a printed piece.
Other then the stickers I love how it came out and found it relatively simple to follow the instructions.
