With proofread with Gboard, you can check and correct any typed, pasted, or voice dictated text in your text box for writing errors like typos, grammar, and punctuation.
- To get started, in the pop-up, tap Continue. If you tap “No thanks” you won't be able to get correction suggestions.

Use proofread with Gboard
Use Fix itImportant:If you’re using Fix it for the first time, in the pop-up, tap Continue. You can use Fix it on most apps.
- On your device, open the app where you'll input your text.
- Enter your text.
- If proofreading errors are found, Fix it will give suggestions. Tap Fix itto apply the corrections to your text.
- Optional: To remove the correction, tap Undo.
- If more proofreading suggestions are available, tap Fix it
More fixes.
- Go to Gboard Settings.
- Tap Text correction
- Turn Proofreadoff.
