Aloo ke guthke: Fried potatoes

Guthke: Holi celebration involves the entire community coming together and celebrating irrespective of caste and creed. Sharing food (grains/cereals) with different caste is not a common practice. Potatoes are cosidered as fruit and hence can be shared with everyone. Also, they are cultivated during this period and are available in abundance and easy to cook .
