Contemplating Lohan (Rahula)

Lohans, or Arhats in Sanskrit meaning “perfect saints”, were disciples of the Buddha . Attaining an advanced state of spiritual enlightenment, they were revered as the protectors of Buddhist law. Generally represented in groups, lohans are depicted as engaged in thought, alert, and self-confident. Rahula is caught in meditative thought and pondering trying to understand the world around him. He is extremely passionate.
