Horse with Red Eyes

Diana Thorneycroft uses distortion in Horse with Red Eyes, Horse with Orange Tail, and Horse with Red Tongue. Beginning with plastic toy horses, the artist, like a shaman, metamorphosed them into omnipotent creatures. The person who finally aquires the sculpture can activate its power by pushing something meaningful into the horse's belly through its mouth, transforming the object into a protective talisman.
