The monument to the prominent Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko was erected in Lviv in 1964. The team of authors consisted of well-known Lviv sculptors Dmytro Krvavych, Emmanuel Mysko, Yakiv, and Vasyl Odrekhivskyi with the participation of architect Andriy Shulyar.
