The Carrier, Personnel Half-track M3, also known as an M3 Half-track, was an American armored vehicle used by the United States, the British Empire, and the other Allies during World War II and in the Cold War . About 15,000 M3 were produced. Derivative variants and complementary production of similar vehicles amounted to more than 50,000 vehicles.[2]
