MOROBE BILUM

The five category Morobe bilum pieces are found in different traditional societies of Morobe Province. They have very common features of common colors, designs and patterns which have distinct names in local dialects in socieites they represent. While they served different purposes, they occupy distinct cultural spaces in traditional socities that own them.
