Seated figure of Buddha in light grey schist stone, in dhayamudra measuring 16 1/2" high and 9" wide. The pedestal measuring 9"x2"x3" depicts two kneeling figures devotees worshiping the fire in an altar. This sculpture belongs to the famous site of Sikri and no the basis of fire altar, it may be deduced that it may belongs to Sassanian Period (240-300 AD)
