Established on January 2007, koloWn took its name from the oldest street in the Philippines , Colon Street, and from the idea of colonialism. Its initial mission was to kolownize all possible spaces. KoloWn has evolved into a brand that sells ambiguous ideas, using a variety of techniques and styles to produce bizarre products. koloWn operates as a network of individual workers/producers that may or may not known to each other.
