In the middle of the dense forest of Muna
Located at the farthest site in Sulawesi, this cave contains drawings of maritime scenes, a flying kite, and human figures with various activities.
To reach the cave, visitors must walk for one to two hours through several hilly contours. There are several sites along the way, such as the Lakantagho site.
The sun and other rock art motifs
The sun motif was depicted on the left side of the cave wall. Other motifs are assumed to be about human activities. All the images are in now faded condition.

The human-animal interaction
In this cave, some scenes show human-animal interactions between humans and dogs, or humans and their prey such as pigs, anoa, and deer.

The cave wall panel was painted in brown and black pigment colors depicting human figures on boats, human figures with weapons, dots, and flying kites.

Rock art in Muna including the Kaghofighofine site, has a complete chronology of rock art from pre-Austronesia to the Austronesian painting tradition. The former is related to large naturalistic animals and hand stencils, while the latter is related to the maritime scenes.
