Recording the Original URL
Hi.
Your Chrome Extension works very well and is exactly what I need for a client. They have a web site which each user has opened and logged into each day. If a user pastes a new URL into the same Chrome tab, with the same domain as your extension looks for, then the tab will navigate to the new sub URL without needing to log back in. If my code shell executes the same URL, a new tab is opened and the original URL changes to the Login page of the Domain. Your extension then uses the new URL to update the existing tab, which in turn displays the Login page of the domain.
Would there be any way for your Extension to store the original URL before it changes to the Login URL so when it finds the matching tabs URL it overwrites the already logged in tab with the originally supplied URL?
If so, I am happy to pay for this change. I'm also from NZ so would like to support a fellow Kiwi.
