Cloudy Calculator

It was working fine until version 1.0.19. Since then, the calculation has become very unreliable and no longer functions as a basic calculator. Currently, 5/2=3 ,or return the same value for some multiplication (e.g. 70*1.44, 80*1.44, or 90*1.44 all return 100). A fix has already been submitted, but updates to the extension store are not instant. The review and approval process can take anywhere from 3–5 days, which is unfortunately outside of my control, even if the issue is resolved quickly on my end. I typically aim to identify and fix issues within 24–48 hours while balancing school and other commitments. This is a free tool that I maintain in my own time, and I do my best to keep it reliable for everyone. If you prefer to use a different extension in the meantime, that’s completely understandable — you should use whatever works best for you. I love using this extension as part of my work but something recently changed that I don't like, its now returning inaccurate result when decimals are involved. Example: 183.95 / 13625.01 it should return a result of 0.01350090752 or 1.35% when converted to percentage but the extension now only shows 0.01 which is inaccurate. Why only allow 2 decimal places? There are decimal places that can be converted to percentage so returning all the result of a decimal should be allowed and let us us... Show more

Great calculator extension but has been automatically disabled by the browser because you increased your request for app permissions - why are you now asking to "change data" on a bunch of sites including google.com?

The “change data” permission is used to access publicly available data on certain websites when needed—for example, to retrieve up-to-date currency exchange rates and support additional functionality. These requests are strictly for fetching relevant data, and no user information is collected or transmitted. We’re also actively working to minimize permissions while maintaining functionality, and upcoming updates will reduce this scope further.

This is one of my most used extensions but as others have mentioned something changed recently where it has stopped returning answers with any amount of decimal places. only whole numbers. What changed?

Great tool, but needs a fix for division accuracy. "I really enjoy using this calculator, but I noticed an issue with the division function. For example, when calculating 100 / 14, the app returns 7 instead of the correct decimal value of 7.14 . It seems to be rounding down to the nearest whole number. Improving the decimal precision would make this a 5-star app!"

Update April 4 2026: the decimal point issue is back! I see a message from March 30 saying this will be fixed in an update. Great extension in general, but there are two serious issues (hence 1-star - will raise): 1. When I pop the calculator window out, the window attached to the extension remains, which defeats the purpose of popping it out to increase visibility. 2.
